YOUNG WOMAN AMBASSADOR

If you are a young woman aged 18 - 24 and want to become an ambassador for the Agricultural Show movement, are already involved in your local community or the agricultural industry, you could be a Royal Bathurst Young Woman Ambassador. You will meet like minded young ladies, get involved in the community and receive a three day VIP pass to our great Show and great prizes.

All entrants must read and complete the following form prior to entry into local Shows and subsequently Zone Finals.

Entry form to be received by YWA Steward before Saturday 2nd March 2024.

Any queries regarding eligibility should be referred to the Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman Competition Coordinator of the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales or the Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman Competition Delegate of the Agricultural Societies Council of NSW.

ROYAL BATHURST SHOW YOUNG WOMAN AMBASSADOR COMPETITION REGULATIONS

The Competition is open only to permanent residents of Australia.

Entrants must be women aged from 18 years to under 26 years as at 1 May 2025.

Entrants must reside, be educated or work with New South Wales for at least three months prior to their local YWA Competition to qualify to compete within the State.

Only candidates nominated by an Agricultural Show Society are eligible for Zone and State Final Judging.

Previous entrants in the YWA Competition are eligible to enter; however, they are not to have been one of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd place getters in a previous State Final.

The following people are not eligible to enter the YWA Competition:

Staff, Delegates and Councilors of both the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (“RAS”) and the Agricultural Societies Council of NSW (“ASC”).

The daughters of the Staff, Delegates and Councilors of the RAS and ASC.

Winning entrants who are employed or engaged in full time studies will be required to obtain a leave of absence to attend Zone and State Final Judging.

The State Final Judging will take place at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2025. Finalists will be guests of the RAS whilst in Sydney, but will be required to pay their own travelling expenses to and from Sydney.

The winner of the State Final and 2nd Place getter will be asked TO REMAIN IN Sydney as guests of the RAS for Grand Parade attendances.

The entrant authorises the RAS, ASC and the Bathurst A, H & P Association to incorporate any photograph of the entrant in any public display in connection with the promotion of the RAS, ASC, The Royal Bathurst Show, The Land Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman Competition, the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Show movement in general.
