EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE:
Please refer to the Rules, General, Supplementary and these Specific Regulations for guidance on the conduct of the competitions.
All exhibits must only use Fondant coverings.
EXCEPT WHERE INDICATED IN CLASS.
Decorations may be on any base or frame not necessarily a cake. No cake will be cut, decorations only judged.
Wire should not penetrate the surface of the exhibit – a posy pick etc should be used.
All work to be that of the exhibitor and handmade(ie, no manufactured items) with the exception of the following - Tulle, ribbon, braid, wire, pillars (or other means of elevation).
Stamens and edible food products e.g. coloured sugar, coconut, piping gel, cachous may be used.
All base and presentation boards may be covered with paper, fabric, icing or adhesive film and must have cleats attached to the bottom (a means of elevation)
Exhibits will NOT be available for collection from the Pavilion on the last day of the Show, unless special collection arrangements have been made in advance with the Head Steward of their section due to exceptional circumstances.
Exhibits may be collected from the Pavilion between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm on Monday 13th April 2024. Entry Stubs must be presented to collect items/exhibits. Any item/exhibit not collected by Wednesday 17 th April 2024 will be disposed of by the Association unless alternative arrangements have been made with the Secretary’s Office.
